9 months old!!!

I took Caleb to the doctor today for his nine month check-up. He already weights 19 lbs 1 oz, but he is only 26 1/2 inches long. That means that since he was born he has gained over 12 lbs but has only grown 6 inches. He is a chunky boy, but I love it!!! It's amazing to me how much they change in the first year. I just took dinner to a friend who had a baby and I was amazed at how small her baby was and Caleb was even smaller when he was born! It's so fun being a mom and getting to spend almost every minute of every day taking care of someone so precious. I absolutely love the stage Caleb is in right now and I hope it stays for a while. He gives us the biggest smiles that will cheer anyone up!
