This morning was Ethan's Heart Run/Walk! I was SO excited to go and meet so many heart Mom's that I know through blogging and friends. It was really fun talking to them and getting to know them. I would have loved to stay and visit longer but it was very windy and cold. I only got a few pictures because I forgot to charge the battery and it was almost dead! Ugh!!! Oh well, I did get a few and I'll have to get some from the other Mom's who took pictures. Here are a few of the ones I took.
Here is the beginning of the 10k. I was so impressed by all of the people who did it!
They had a pancake breakfast and bounce houses for the kids. Lots of fun!

Heidi Skidmore announcing the winners of the races. She is Ethan's Mom and organized this whole event. Good job Heidi! It turned out GREAT!

That is so cool! I bet that was fun! That is a bummer that the weather was stinky though. It has been so nice the rest of the week.
Well, now I REALLY can't believe I didn't see you...if you were standing right there while she was announcing the winners, we must have walked right past you going to our car! We were near the end of the 10k finishers, so she announced about 15 minutes after we finished, as we were leaving. I didn't think you'd have stayed that long.
But as for the weather, we LOVED it! It was perfect for a long run, and it didn't start raining until right after everybody finished the 10k, what a blessing!!

Oh my gosh! I hope you don't mind my trespassing on your blog but I just read my sister Caryn Beck's blog & saw your name with a link. Curiousity got the best of me & I clicked on your name. Only to find that you are the same person that I happened to see about 3 times before Ethan's Run started. Crazy. There was something about you that I couldn't put my finger on.... You're a Heart Mom! Maybe that's why you had a a certain glow about you?
Anyway, I'm gald you had a great time at the Run. I did as well. I hope they do it again next year!
