Last night I heard the news of President Hinckley passing away. I was so sad to hear of this but I am sure he is happy to be back with his wife. I just wanted to express my love for President Hinckley. I always enjoyed hearing him talk and I loved his sense of humor. He was so optimistic. He will always be the President I remember from my youth. In the time he was President there was so much progress in our church and he was such a great example to all of us. I love him and will miss him!

My little boy is growing up!
Where has all of the time gone? Caleb will be 18 months this Saturday! He is growing up and changing so much. We just can't imagine life without him anymore. He brings so much joy into our home.
I just can't get enough of his laugh!
Caleb has about five words now that he can say. I love to hear him talk. Most of the time he just jabbers on and on without making any sense, but I love to hear him actually say words. Here is a list of the words he can say:
1. mommy
2. tickle tickle
3. uh oh
4. thanks
5. daddy
Here are some of Caleb's favorite things to do:
1. Dance to music
2. Eat food!
3. Push anything he can around the house (laundry basket, boxes, toys, chairs...)
4. He loves to talk and talk especially with his hands...too bad we can't understand a thing he says! He is so expressive.
We captured a few minutes of him dancing the other day. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
We start nursery this Sunday. It'll be interesting to see how he does. I'm sure excited to go to classes without him! Maybe we will be able to pay attention again...well for six weeks anyway!

One special person
This is a picture of my Grandma and Grandpa Fish with Caleb about a year ago. Caleb wasn't too happy in this picture but I'm glad we have it.
Recently my Grandma was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. About two weeks before Christmas she had to have surgery because the doctors found a mass surrounding her colon. This was quite a major surgery and it has been a difficult for my Grandma because her recovery has been so slow. She has completely lost her appetite, hasn't been able to sleep, and gets tired very easily. This is not like her. My Grandma and Grandpa Fish have always lived a very healthy lifestyle and they are both very active. This last Sunday my family all fasted for my Grandma that she would recover and start feeling better. Although I couldn't fast because I am pregnant, I have prayed and thought so much about her. She has always been an example to me and I am grateful for her in my life.
Now the doctors are telling my Grandma that as soon as she has enough strength they want to start doing chemotherapy to fight her ovarian cancer. They are telling her to expect to be really sick. She is struggling with knowing the right decision of whether to go through chemotherapy or not.
I know this is a very difficult time for both of my Grandparents. I also know that there have been a lot of prayers and fasting done in their behalf and now we have to leave it up to the Lord. I love my Grandma so much. She is the type of person I hope to be like someday.

Suns Game
For Christmas Jared gave me tickets to go see the Suns Game against the Hornets.
On our way to the game we stopped and had dinner at Rubios. Yummy!
We had pretty good seats and we enjoyed the game. Too bad the Suns lost!!!
I also have to say a HUGE thank you to my sister Jamie for watching Caleb for us that night. It was fun being able to spend time together. We haven't done much of that in the last 18 months!
Celebrating Christmas
We opened most of our presents the Saturday before Christmas because we were going to be spending the rest of the weekend in Show Low with my family. Caleb really enjoyed unwrapping all of his presents!
Here is a fun picture of a bunch of my brothers and sisters. We are just missing Natalie and Jamie since they weren't with us for Christmas.
This is a train Caleb's Grandpa Pearce made for him for Christmas.
We sure enjoyed spending time together this Christmas season. School begins again this week! The time went by way too fast. Before we know it it's going to be March and we will have another baby in our home!!!
