Hi, this is Caleb. So, this last weekend we went to my Grandma's house in Show Low. I had a lot of fun with all of my aunts and uncles! The weather was nice so I got to play outside a lot. One of my favorite things to do was jump on the trampolene!
Saturday my Aunt Christy got married. I got to go to the temple and watch her come out. Doesn't she look so pretty?
My mom took forever taking pictures and then she decided we needed a family picture. You can see how excited I was about that!
Finally we left the temple and I was sooo tired I fell asleep in the car.
Next we went to have lunch with everyone but my Mom made me take a nap so I missed most of that part. When I woke up everyone was decorating for the reception. I just hung out with the people preparing the food and begged for more olives...
The next thing I knew my Mom said we had to go take more pictures as if we hadn't taken enough yet!?! Well, here is one with all of my Grandma and Grandpa Pearce's family. My brother was sleeping so he's the only one missing.
Once the reception started I found the coolest place to play with my cars and I did that all night long!
As you can see by the end of the night I was all tuckered out! (No worries though, I still have a car in each hand which makes me a happy boy:)

Kyson's upcoming surgery
This month is a busy one for our family. Last Saturday my sister Christy got married. It was a wonderful day and I am so happy for her. I have tons of pictures that I will share later. It was so good to go to the temple and be there with a lot of my family. I needed it in so many ways to help prepare me for everything. Next Thursday, Aug. 14th, Kyson will be going in to PCH again for a heart cath. It is supposed to be just a one day procedure to see how his heart is working. They will inject die into his heart and watch how his blood is flowing. This will help the doctors know how to proceed for his next surgery. If all goes well he will have his second surgery on Tuesday Aug. 26th. In this surgery they will take out the shunt and the band they had to put in for the first surgery and they will take his superior vena cava and hook it directly up to his pulmonary artery. In other words all of the blood from the top half of his body will go directly to his lungs rather then to his heart and then his lungs. Eventually all of his blood will have to do this (go from his body directly to his lungs and then to his heart) since he really only has a two chamber heart instead of four.
Kyson has been doing really well lately and I have to admit it is very difficult to have to start the whole surgery process over again. I am dreading it in every way. Last surgery I know we had people praying for us everywhere. It was such a strength to us and we felt so much comfort from our Heavenly Father. As his surgery approaches I would like to ask again for all of your prayers, especially for Kyson. That is what got us through the first one and I know it will get us through this surgery as well. We feel blessed to have so many family members and friends who have helped us out so much. We love you all so very much.

Two years old!
Saturday was Caleb's birthday! We ended up having two parties for him, one with my family, and one with friends. I think he's starting to realize that birthdays are a lot of fun. He keeps getting new toys! He got cars and trains and trucks and much much more. Thanks everyone for coming to celebrate with us!
Yummy birthday cake
More cars! YIPEE!!!
Caleb was rolling his cars down the slide and watching them crash into the water. He thought it was great fun and everytime he ran out of cars he was frantically signing MORE, MORE, MORE!!!
Playing together in the pool
Wow! I found another car!

Reprieve
Over the 4th of July weekend we decided to go to Pinetop to stay at Jared's parents cabin. It was so beautiful up there! The weather was amazing. Friday afternoon we went out to Brushy Flats where my side of the family was camping. It was so fun to spend so much time together as a family. Here are some of the things each of us enjoyed:
KYSON
I know Kyson enjoyed being at the cabin as much as I did because he was the happiest he has ever been his whole life. He would just lay there and look around and when someone would come close and say hi, he would give them one of his biggest, cutest smiles. It was wonderful!
CALEB
Can I just say THOMAS THE TRAIN!!! I don't think there is a child that has enjoyed playing with a train set as much as Caleb did while we were there. He slept, ate, and played with the trains. It was great because all we had to do was feed him and change his diapers and he was happy as can be. His birthday is coming up in about 3 1/2 weeks...I think I know what to get him!
JARED
We hauled a trailer up to the cabin for Jared's parents that was full of patio furniture. It was quite the adventure! We lost two boxes and had to re-tie all the ropes and our little 4-runner wasn't too happy going up the hills. We began our trip around 4:30 and finally arrived at the cabin around 9:30 (It is usually a 3 1/2 hour drive). The next day Jared woke up (at 5:30AM since our dear Caleb thinks that's time to wake up:) and got busy working. He helped his Dad unload a ton of boxes, move a lot of furniture around, and few other miscellaneous things. The rest of the time we were there I think Jared just enjoyed relaxing and not having to worry about work or school.
ANDREA
I enjoyed every minute while we were there. I ate so much yummy food!!! My children were both happy and I was happy. One of the best moments was when I was able to take Kyson outside and lay on the hammock with him. I snuggled him close and thought about how lucky I was to be able to hold him and love him. I know what it's like to not be able to hold him and I try really hard to take advantage of these special moments.
MeMoRiEs Of mE...
I saw this on my friend Katie's blog and thought it was cute, so now here it is on my blog!
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you!

Special Day
Today is Jared's birthday and I wanted to take the time to let him know how much I love him! I know I am one of the luckiest girls alive. I am so grateful for Jared. We have gone through so much together lately and I have been so grateful to have him by side. He has given me a shoulder to cry on so many times in the last couple of months and that has given me the strength to get through hard times. When I have felt stressed and very overwhelmed, he has been there to comfort me and help me through it. I have to say I couldn't have done it without him. We still have a lot to go through but I am grateful to know that Jared will be by my side through it all. He has been putting forth an extra effort lately to help me out and it has meant so much to me. I know it hasn't been easy on him, but I've seen him grow and develop into an amazing father especially these last couple of months.
Thank you Jared for all you do. I love you very much!!!
Happy Birthday Jared!!!
